the painfullest of pains bring you to a new place
feel it to the bottom
no matter who has lost or won
the emptiness of loss vows to make up for the cost
believe or sink deeper
despite these hollow limbs
rest when the sun sets
rise when you want to
seasons change when you do
sadness in disguise is a sharp and cruel knife
perfectly built weapon
without ever intending sin
when peace finally arrives
it will take you by surprise
give thanks to anguish for the ride
rest when the sun sets
rise when you want to
seasons change when you do

Today, user "Some guy", who owns a very interesting collection, bought a couple of albums, including some exquisite chamber music items. Since I couldn't decide which one to purchase first, I grabbed all of the three candidates at once. This little EP, created by Mingjia Chen (pronounced Ming-yee-yah) in company with her "Tortoise Orchestra", clocks in just 14 minutes, but those 14 minutes are so stunning that they immediately leave a lasting expression.
